Since it has been almost 1 month since I last posted, I thought I'd take a break from homework to update a little bit. Hahahaha how can you take a break from something you never started? Yes it's true, I've reached week 5 of my 8 week classes and I've lost all interest in studying...for now, I'm procrastinating :) It's all good! (Don't judge me.)
Fall is in full blooom and it's spectacular here! I took a lot of pictures today, because it was so gorgeous, but I don't have time to post them tonight, so you will just have to check back soon! Jordan and I started our Jr High Bible studies last week, and they are such a blast. I love jr highers, have I ever told anyone that? Much easier and less intimidating than high schoolers. Side note: I went to the school to eat lunch with the kids last week, and as I was hanging out with the middle schoolers, a teacher came and asked me if I was a new student. I kid you not. Sure, I'll thank him in 10 years.
Jordan is also going to start some after school tutoring for a few of the guys that are struggling. I'm very excited for him, but slightly jealous that I can't do it because that's what I love. But, alas, God created me female...and since none of the girls are struggling...well.
We took a weekend (more like day) trip to Denver last weekend, with Seth and Crystal. Just needed a little break from Lake City before we get snowed in. It was super short, but had a blast at the aquarium, PF Changs, and shopping :) (pics to come)
Our winter is gearing up to be busier than summer was, which is pretty much the opposite of everyone who lives here. It's great to be kept occupied during the winter so I don't get cabin fever and start eating people...I mean....getting bored.
October is here...which means I'll be forced to give up being 21. that's lush...

I guess Life was hit by some C4...
...because it just blew up in my face.
To briefly catch you up: I lost my cell phone somewhere between the grocery store and home, a distance of 102 miles. My computer's wireless in no longer working, this happened on the first day of classes, which are all over the internet. The house we were hoping to get into next month fell through so we still aren't able to take Jake off my parent's hands. Jordan and I had a fantastic idea to redo our apt before winter sets in, and as much as I love the new furniture we're getting and great deals, and new paint, I have no idea what to do with all the junk the tenant before us left to our possession. Because whoever thought up the master plans for the apartments chose to put the front door opening up right against a wall which makes it impossible to get a couch in or out. Not to mention we don't have a real dump in this town, and it costs some good cash to drop off nasty beat up furniture at our 'transfer station'...did I forget to mention that Jordan's Bronco is dead dead dead? Hypothetically, if we did have a dump or a place to get rid off all these unusable home furnishings, how would we transport it. Like I said at dinner, "Jordan, we're in a pickle." (Please do not take my thoughts as complaining, I'm simply very amused...) So this leaves us one option right now, our 2nd bedroom or if I was a Narnian, "Spare Room", is stuffed to the rafters. Quite literally: Two halfs of a couch that Jordan sawed in half tonight in order to move it out of the living room, a table and 3 chairs (seriously, who sells a table with 3 chairs??), a sofa bed, 2 nightstands, and 2 big living room chairs. Not to mention 4 GIGANTIC cardboard boxes (think fitting a couch in 2 of them and a table in another...the 4th one just kind of appeared. that's gigantic). Speaking of pickles....
