.wild wild wild.

I'm sitting here at 2 AM unable to sleep and decide I might as well update our blog. These past few weeks have become pretty slow for me as I had to stop working because of my back pain. Since then, however, my back has felt so much better and Jordan no longer has to carry me to the bathroom in the evenings, definately a good thing! I have kept myself busy, or somewhat busy, by organizing and spring cleaning throughout the house, volunteering at KLUB (haha yes Caleb I know) which is an afterschool Christian club on Wednesdays for K-5th, reading, and of course, doing taxes. Hurray! Unfortunately our taxes cannot be completed until I change my name on my social security card and the nearest office is, oh, 2 1/2 hours away in good weather. Boo.

I've also started going to a women's Bible study on Sunday afternoon's and we're studying the book of Daniel. We only go through about 10 verses a week, but it is SO good and I love it! Jordan's and my evenings are pretty much taken up with youth group stuff and a care group, we always make sure we have one night set aside for our 'date' night. I am definately taking advantage of this first pregnancy without any other children to take care of...(ending sentence with a preposition??). I know this will probably be the only time in my life where I can set aside afternoons to catch up on the sleep that I'm not getting, like at this very moment.

Jordan and I are heading to Snowbound this weekend, which we are very excited for (prep again!). Snowbound is the winter camp for Jr Highers and it is our first year able to go. If you think about it, please pray for openness and a willing heart for the youth. The majority of girls (which are the same girls in my Bible study) are believers, however there may be 2 unbelievers and this is a great opportunity for the others to share Christ with them. Also pray that I can sleep this weekend so I'll have the energy I need to keep up with them :D

Ok, I think I'll go try to sleep again....

ps. if anyone can guess what song the title of this post is taken from, they win!

Creepy Deer!!!

I'm not sure anyone outside of Lake City understands just how creepy deer can be. There are times when I'm walking to my car at night and between it and myself there is a herd of deer and I wonder if I'll make it safely. I just looked out my window this afternoon and saw deer really close to my porch so I thought I'd capture it:

By this point I'm a little creeped out, so I head inside...

baby Adelaide.

Yesterday we had our 20 week appointment as well as our ultrasound, it was beyond amazing. The 4d ultrasounds are incredible. After finding out we're going to have a baby girl, we watched her yawn and move around. I cannot believe I have the privilege of carrying this child. Looking at her face makes all the backache and migraines and morning sickness worth it! I am in awe of how mighty our Creator is....

Huzzah!

Yay, I was able to get the camera working for a few minutes...Enjoy!

This was one of our first (and only, it feels like) snows...this is also the view from our apartment.

One night after Jordan got home from work, he's already turning into his dad! :)

Jordan asked if we could do belly shots......

How could I say no?? :)
Well, since I'm already out here....

I am not as big as I look...it's definately the shirt...and the lighting...and the photographer :)

Halfway there!!
