Not much happened at the appointment, they're saving all the good stuff for next week at 36/37 weeks. But I did learn that I'm off bedrest AND meds this Friday...so only 2 1/2 more days! Meanwhile, I'm keeping myself busy with writing, tying some rugs, folding laundry, reading books (currently loving Nineteen Eighty Four) and learning more about labor (as well as trying to keep my uterus in check). Nothing too exciting to share. Oh btw, my platelet count is back to normal...how odd (but good).
My doctor asked Jordan last night how involved he wanted to be with the birth and Jordan said as much as he could be. She asked if he'd go so far as catching the baby and Jordan's reply was, "Heck yes!" I have such a great husband!
Lake City is finally starting to look like summer as tourists are trickling in. Most restaurants and shops open this week in time for Memorial Day and I'm SO glad I get off bedrest just in time. I'm getting excited for the weekend, not so much because there is an Arbor Day Festival, but that it gives me an excuse to get outside, see other humans besides my husband, and WALK. So hopefully I'll have more exciting news (and pictures!) to share in a few days.
