To anyone that is interested, I thought I'd give a little update on what's happening in regards to my pregnancy. Well I got off bedrest and medication about 2 weeks ago (huzfreakinzah!) and since then I have been contracting consistently every 7 minutes. So consistent in fact that I could set my watch to them, if I could find it! There have been a few times where the contractions have been every 3 minutes for up to 4 1/2 hours, in a normal pregnancy this is when you would make the call to the doctor and they'd tell you to come to the hospital. However, this is not your normal pregnancy. So I just wait. And try to distract myself so I'm not constantly timing them. At least these contractions are making some progress, I was dialated to a 2 on Monday and a 3 yesterday (Wednesday) so slowly but surely we are getting there. I am not that impatient right now as I know that I'm not due for another 2 weeks, but the annoyance of the contractions combined with my high blood pressure and the risk for pre-e as well as my painful gallbladder and the non-fat diet really makes it hard to be patient. But Jordan and I are really enjoying our last few weeks alone and it's exciting to see him get excited and impatient to become a father.

That's pretty much all that is going on for now. I'd say that I'll let you know when I'm in labor, but I'm not sure I'll know it myself! : )

maybe i'm just clueless...but how do you measure/know how far apart you are if you aren't with a doctor/hospital?

Hey Sweetie! That's great! I mean, the more you contract and dilate before actual labor, the better! So being dilated to a 3 and not yet in labor is great...That means when you do start official labor, you might be half way done (like maybe to a 5, and since you can push at a 10, well heck, you'd be 1/2 way there!) Hard as it is to ignore those contraction and wait, it'll hopefully pay of come labor time! :) I love you, you're in my thoughts!
