He gives and takes away

blessed be His name.

A few weeks ago Jordan received a call from the Lake City Church Council asking him to take over leading the youth group while Seth and Crystal were away for a bit. Now at this time, we had just shared with the youth that we were moving and said goodbye and spent our last hang nite with them. But after thinking about it for the weekend and praying for a bit we decided to agree to it and it truly was the Lord's provision as it was a paid position. During the past few weeks Jordan hasn't had his usual amount of work and so the extra income really helped out in that area as well as being able to save some and use it to help with moving costs. Apart from the financial aspect, it was a huge blessing in disguise to me. Usually when I know I will be leaving somewhere I go ahead and check out as I prepare for the future and quit living for the present. This gave me an opportunity to continue to love the youth here and share Jesus with them and make the most of our last few weeks. It's really been a blast and while it makes it a little harder to leave, we're really curious to see where the Lord is taking us.

Anyway, I hope you enjoy some recent pictures of what's going on with us:

Adelaide LOVES to 'talk.' she talks to us, to books, and to animals...

She also loves being outside and going for walks. During her fussy times I'll take her outside and she calms right down. Girl after my own heart!

She's also a morning person. She'll lie on her blanket and talk, smile, and move like crazy. Some of my favorite time with her.

I just had to share this of her 'on the phone' :D

This is Maddie and Gracyn (two girls from our youth group) watching the softball game with me. We've had some great times this summer and I'm going to miss them a TON!

And finally, Jordan is convinced Adelaide will be a Rockband pro before she can walk.
