in Utah (though technically we were in Wyoming):
my little camper
seester with the cousins
already loves the water...
so we're settled back in Utah now. Though I don't feel settled. The transition has been much harder than I anticipated and I'm continually relying on the Lord to ease me through it day by day. It was so difficult to say goodbye to the LC youth group and I've realized that this is the first time in 6 years I"m not in youth ministry. A little part of me feels empty. Maybe God is trying to get me to rethink where I'm finding my identity.
Jordan is busy looking for a job and helping with Adelaide and getting our "rooms" unpacked. He spent the weekend painting for me and it's actually quite cozy.
Adelaide is AMAZING. She's 14 lbs plus and just keeps on growing. Half of it is in her cheeks of course. She's laughing and talking like crazy. Made a friend with our banker, in fact she interrupted him so much he had a hard time doing his job. She also made friends with a stranger at Subway yesterday talking and smiling over my shoulder as she stood on my lap while I ate. She's so fun almost all the time. I'm so thankful for how easy she is and what a great sleeper she is, allowing me to sleep in whenever I want. She'll be three months this week...I can't believe how fast it goes bye! I'm definately cherishing this time with her.
Although we're missing Colorado like crazy and all our friends, we're trying to be patient to see what the Lord has in store for us. Because we know he has us here
"for such a time as this"

Charity! She is so stinking cute! I can NOT believe just how big she is! 14lbs!? Ok, Steele is 1 (today acutally!) and weighs a whole whopping 19 or 20lbs.. (I promise we feed him! lol) Looks like tons of fun being with your family! I'm happy you get to be closer to them...I miss that in my life...
PS-Stupid question on my part, but did you put sunscreen on Adelaide? I didn't think you could put it on infants (from what I'd heard before I had Steele), but his dr said you can...not sure what you've been told?
beautiful pics! breathtaking really. Amazed you got an original Metzger pic..those are soo hard to come by!...hehe. Glad you are back, and happy to have Jordan and Adelaide here too!
