I've been going through some rough days lately with Adelaide's teething and her needing more attention than usual so I began to take her into the shower with me because it is relaxing for the both of us and it's some of our sweetest time together. She loves the water and it is so soothing for her when we just cuddle. Well one evening last week we got in the shower after struggling all day and not getting her to nap for a decent amount of time. She played with the water a little bit and then looked up at me, laid her shoulder on my head and fell asleep. It was one of the most beautiful moments with her and brought tears to my eyes. I stood in the shower just holding her for as long as my back and arms could hold an 18 lb baby. Even through the frustrating moments of being a parent, this moment reminded me that grace still finds beauty in everything.
I am so blessed to be her mother and I don't deserve to love this child. I pray we all remember God's love and grace to all of us during this busy time of the year.

That is so absolutely sweet, I am sure she is so sweet all around. Can't wait to meet her, and keep these stories coming.
