Adelaide's room...

It's really our guest room, but I needed somewhere to channel my creativeness, haha, right. Anyway, I really just wanted to keep it simple and classy, I'm not a fan of baby themes or pastels. :D Tell me what you think!
You can't really tell from this picture, but I have pictures up of all the little cousins...and will be adding one more REALLY soon!

I made the wall hangings out of Ikea fabric...

We can't really do much painting in the apartment, so I made the crib canopy just to add color to the room. There is nothing practical about it haha! And that is Jordan's beautiful bookshelf...

A close up of the crib bedding...I love it! I have to brag about it because I found it at Target for only $15!

I love it!! And to add color to the wall you can always do vinyl! You can add it to a board or right on to the wall! IF you do it on the wall a blow dryer will take it right off. I like putting it on boards though so i can have it forever

Just sunburn, but the april fools part was the hot oil...although....I also got burned on my hand too, from how i was sitting with my jacket on in the sun, so it could have looked like a burn from cooking as well.

I just had a flash of memory about a conversation we had about patterns for baby slings. http://www.mykarmababy.com/pages/BabySlingPattern.php This link has very easy instructions and could be the best beginner way to get into selling baby items, then you could move to the more challenging Mei Tais (both of my links were removed...but I just googled it)

Good luck!
