Sometimes my heart just aches for youth to love and serve. I hate being so passionate about something but having it squished by circumstances. I see others who are surrounded by the people I want to befriend and love and pour into and I'm almost jealous. Will God allow me to follow these passions again? Sigh.
ps. I despise college degrees.

I hope you can get involved with youth again sometime soon. Being a new mom is wonderful, but hard in some ways, such as that one-- seems like there's a slight identity adjustment as you add a huge new role and the other parts of you sometimes take a backseat for a little time.
This comment is actually about the next post though, and Adelaide's jeans. After having a son, I have been so amazed at the styles of baby girl jeans that are really slim and look like 14 year old's clothes. Sometimes they'd be too slim for even my baby girls, who were about as thin as babies come. Maybe you could find some not-too-boyish boy jeans that would fit her? or overalls? Baby jeans are so cute ;)
